Adam and Olivia met the summer of 2014 as they were both serving at a Christian camp. During their time spent together, they started to develop mutual feelings for one another, but they didn't start dating until August of 2015. Olivia is from Michigan and Adam is from Iowa. This made their relationship a bit challenging, but they worked together to keep it strong, no matter the distane. After only a few short months of dating, Adam popped the big question on January 3, 2016. Olivia mentioned to me that a long distance engagement was even harder!
They set their wedding date right away ~ October 14, 2016. I really enjoyed this wedding! Olivia and I have known each other since the 6th grade, so being able to be apart of her big day was so honoring. Because of their long distant relationship, I didn't end up meeting Adam until the day of the wedding. I could tell right away that Adam was a good one! One of my favorite moments of this wedding was when Adam and Olivia said their vows. They each wrote their own, which I thought was so touching. Adam said his first, then Olivia. As Olivia read hers, she began to choke up. She said, "I didn't think I was going to do this," as she wiped away her tears. Adam stared at her with a smile on his face, as if there was no one else in the room. At this moment, you could see how much Adam and Olivia truly cared for one another.
